On Valentine’s Day you are invited to be consumed, with each other, socially, gemeinsam, by the new feast that is ISS MICH, the second part of Steven Warwick’s “Winter Shift”.
The character of Tony has changed the architecture of the hut from Xmas market to Gingerbread house. Will someone eat their way inside? Or out to escape? Much like Hansel and Gretel learning to renegotiate the social contract with their parents, and transitions to adulthood, let our relationships and fortunes also be alchemical. As Oedipal relationships collapse, meaning is underscored by contemporary fairytales and myth-making to make sense and navigate oneself in the adult world; can one slip back down the rabbit hole and become their fucking father? Let us meditate and digest with wine and wafers at the new pop up bar TRANSUBSTANCH.
